PHUKET: The funeral was held in Khon Kaen yesterday of Pharuephon Mukdasanit, better known as Mamafaka, one of Thailand's most prominent graphic designers and street artists.
His hairy monster Mr Hellyeah seen on shirts, bags, skateboards and even furniture, was there to farewell its creator.
Pharuephon, who drowned on Phuket at the age of 34 earlier this month, was born in Khon Kaen.
After finishing a vocational course, he joined the graphic design department at Rangsit University, where he fell in love with the art.
