PHUKET: The Permanent Secretary of the Interior Ministry arrived on Phuket today and was inspecting a large property development on the Phuket coast road between Kalim and Kamala.

With Pracha Prasobdee were the Director of the Kathu District, Veera Kerdsirimongkol, and representatives from the Phuket Land Titles Office, the Forests Department and Patong Council.

The property being inspected is one of the largest recent constructions along the beach road, north of Patong.

The property has some fine views over Patong Bay but as yet no signage to explain whether it is a resort or condominiums.

Several other developments on the seaward side of the coast road have gone up recently to impede the view of travellers along the once-scenic beach road.
