PHUKET: One of Phuket's most talked-about brands, Sleep With Me, is on the move. But it's leaving Me behind.
It's one of those memories that many tourists who visit Patong no doubt take home with them: the Sleep With Me Hotel.
Having been situated off Patong's Phrabaramee Road - no relation - for years, the brand is shifting across town to a more prominent location.
A new Sleep With Me Hotel is going up near the Jungceylon shopping mall, opposite Soi Bangla, where even more people will photograph the iconic brand.
Appropriately composed ''selfies'' will be passed on later.
Conservative resort managements may have had nightmares about an outrageous brand like this one but it appears to be a roaring success. Dare we say it's sleeping around?
The new, improved Sleep With Me offer comes in a four-star 258-room hotel that a spokesperson anticipated yesterday will be open by the end of the year.
The old hotel in Patong has already be converted into serviced apartments. They're known simply as Me.
So there you have it: the old Patong Me and the new, improved Patong Me.

I take it the hotel is "guest-friendly"?
