PHUKET: More than 100 students and their parents are protesting today at Phang Nga Provincial Hall to demand the removal of a school head.
Banners held by the pupils say that the Director of Satree Phang Nga School is not only corrupt but has also flashed his genitals at female students.
The protesters are demanding that the Phang Nga Governor remove the school principal, Seri Boonthayoi, immediately.
Angry students went in to a meeting with the Governor at 9.10am.
Facebook and other social networks are believed to have been the means by which students talked and learned of the head teacher's alleged crimes.
Satree Phang Nga School is in Phang Nga Town, capital of the province north of Phuket.
Hope these allegations are not just email and face book scuttlebutt be terrible to be accused based on that only, also very concerning if even school principals are corrupt,
hopefully just a allegation that proves unfounded.
