PHUKET: An estimated 5000 jobs are available on Phuket and about 50 resorts and restaurants have already signed on for a two-day jobs fair entitled ejobs@Phuket 2012 later this month.
The fair is to be held at the Rajabhat University in Phuket City from 9am-4.30pm on June 22-23, with most of the vacancies in resorts, hotels and tourism businesses.
At least 15 kinds of specialist skilled jobs will be sought. In a twist that should boost the environment, participants have been asked to put their resumes and other information onto thumb drives rather than paper.
A hundred people have already registered for the jobs hunt by calling 076 219660 or going online at phuketjob.org.

Good luck with that:
"participants have been asked to put their resumes and other information onto thumb drives rather than paper."
I hope, they have good and actual anti-virus software on the job fair notebooks!
