BIKE WEEK 2010 promises to bring a boost for tourism on Phuket just in time for the Songkran Festival this year.
Organisers are saying they have already had ''much more interest'' than last year.
Highlight to top them all might be the assembling of 2010 bikes to spell out ''Phuket 2010'' on the football field opposite Loma Park in Patong.
Reggae and hard rock will be featured at music venues from April 9 to April 13, with one group taking bookings for a ride from Malaysia to Phuket and back that will start on April 10 and end on April 15.
The Jungceylon mall in Patong will be the venue for the tattoo festival and competitions and the Miss Phuket Bike Week extravaganza.

Photo Special Fortunately the rain (call it a water festival if you will) held off long enough for Bike Week to rev up and have a blast. Glowing machines and golden moments marked the start.
