PHUKET: A gunman in a motorcycle helmet escaped with more than 17,000 baht after holding up a convenience store in Phuket City early today.
Investigators believe he could be the same man who pulled holdups at 7-Eleven stores last month at Rock Garden and Thepkasattri Road.
In the raid at the 7-Eleven in Ranong Road at 12.53am today, the man escaped with 17,173 baht after pointing a gun at staff.
He was wearing a full-frame motorcycle helmet, colored black and looking just like the helmets worn in the previous raids.
He also wore white gloves and a red jacket.
