PHUKET: Charter flyer Business Air is to begin flights between Phuket and South Korea's Incheon Airport from September 3, Phuketwan has learned.
The airline, established five years ago and based at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, now carries 3000 to 4000 passengers to Thailand's capital each month.
Most of the Koreans holidaymakers also travel to Phuket so flying direct is the next step for the carrier's Boeing 767-300s.
Four agent tour companies are working with the airline. Direct charter flights are also planned for Chiang Mai, Udonthani and Had Yai.
Incheon airport is in the South Korean capital, Seoul.
