Passengers fight to stay afloat in the water off Pattaya after a ferry sank

Pattaya Ferry Passengers Fight For Life In The Water: Photos

Monday, November 4, 2013
PHUKET: Dramatic photographs from yesterday's tourist ferry sinking off Pattaya show passengers in the water without life jackets as questions are asked about marine safety. Six bodies have been recovered and divers will be searching for other people in the wreck. A Western man and a woman have yet to be identified with To Kin Man, 48, the third international visitor among the dead. Russians Peter Efitov, 12, and Sargylana Sosina, 49, are in a hospital's intensive care unit. The captain of Sunday's last ferry is believed to have sailed back to Pattaya from a day-trip holiday island with the ferry overcrowded.

R.I.P to the victims. Money should not be the most important thing in Thailand. Instead of counting baht now, trhey're counting the dead...will this change? I doubt it.
