PHUKET: TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site, today announced the winners of its 2013 Travellers' Choice Restaurants awards.
The awards honor travellers' favorite fine dining establishments worldwide, based on millions of valuable reviews and opinions on TripAdvisor.
The awards recognise 171 restaurants, covering 13 countries and seven regions around the globe, including lists for Europe, Asia, South America, South Pacific, the Caribbean, US and the World.
Three restaurants in Thailand were among the top 10 favorite fine dining restaurants in Asia, with Sam's Steaks and Grill in Phuket, Tree Tops in Samui and Rossini's in Bangkok coming in fifth, eighth and ninth posditions respectively.
''It is always food for thought when we tap our community for their favourite restaurants.
