PHUKET: Phuketwan carried a report earlier today saying that Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group (CP) announced that it was buying all the assets of Tesco Lotus Thailand for 300 billion baht. Although there has been speculation about Tesco selling its Asian assets, the article has since been found to be untrue. Phuketwan apologises for the error.
