PHUKET: A Pakistani has been arrested in Songkla over thefts from resorts on Phuket after social media spread the word he was wanted.
Police in the southern Thai province nabbed Paris Azeem, 21, and shunted him back to Phuket, where he was accused of two raids on resorts that netted him cash in a variety of currencies.
According to police, he lifted room entry cards from the Alfresco resort in Patong about 7pm on March 15 and robbed as many as nine rooms, then at 4am the following morning went back for more.
He then flew to Bangkok before travelling to Songkhla, say police.
Officers at Kathu Police Station, which oversees Patong, are continuing to question him.

Good catch! Filthy foreign criminal... I hope you send him to the worst Thai prison for a long time. And hopefully, the word gets out where he came from that Thailand is not a crime-friendly place.
