PHUKET: A toddler drowned yesterday after wandering too close to a swimming pool in a villa in southern Phuket. The tragedy came when the father, a British man, left a door open at the premises in Saiyluan Road, Rawai. The mother, a Thai, was asleep. When she awoke she found the boy, Marcus, aged 16 months, had fallen into the swimming pool and drowned.
