PHUKET: A tip-off led volunteers from the Thalang district to arrest a man with four newly-arrived parcels soon after he left Pak Lok Post Office yesterday. The volunteers found 5.4 kilos of illegal kratom leaves in the parcels. Heading back with suspect Siripob Jaitong, 35, to his residence in Pak Lok's Moo 2, the volunteers say they found an unregistered handgun.

Khun Siripob was charged over possession of the drugs and the gun.
