You really felt that you had to repost that disgusting pic of the reporter being beheaded...truely disgusting on PW's part. You should hang your head in shame ED!!!

Posted by James on August 21, 2014 09:40

Editor Comment:

Under the circumstances, your comment about hanging our heads in shame is in extremely poor taste. Our decisions are made with much greater sincerity.

So peaceful activists wishing to reform energy policy are detained and prevented from marching. Welcome to a military dictatorship.

Editor Comment:

Welcome to a sensible government that finds solutions without the need for divisive extended protests.

Regarding the travel report in Forbes:

Forbes are advising its readers to choose Krabi instead of Phuket for a few main reasons. One of those reasons is that Krabi does NOT have Jet skis.

So now, Phuket for sure are loosing visitors because of its Jet skis.

But maybe the Jet skis are more important to Phuket than the tourists themselves?

Please address the issue raised by James in stead of avoiding it. Because he is absolutely right, this image deserves no place in any self respecting paper.

Posted by stevenl on August 21, 2014 13:31

Editor Comment:

We're an online magazine not a ''paper'' and we haven't published it to the scale of the tabloid. We won't gain a single extra sale from it. But our readers deserve to know what's happening in the world and in this case, the controversy over the tabloid front page warrants us publishing it at a much smaller scale so people can make up their own minds. We retain our self-respect, thank you, and whether we have yours is of no concern to us.

Good to publish the truth. The IS are savages in a religious disguise. Allah must hate its people, to let savages like them to reign.

Posted by Lena on August 21, 2014 14:17

Editor Comment:

Radicalism is the problem, Lena, not religion. All religions have their good and bad moments. Mostly, tolerance rules.

Thank you.

I don't agree with you, but at least you have given your reasoning in stead of avoiding the issue.

Editor Comment:

You have the same two options as the newspaper reader who - unlike you - pays for what they read: 1. Take it. 2. Leave it. Fortunately, standards here are ours to set, not yours.

"Our decisions are made with much greater sincerity."
But not sincere enough to publish the facts as i presented to you? Instead you post a blank?and your rave to it. What is this about that readers can not see what your caustic reply is about?

Posted by James on August 21, 2014 16:27

Editor Comment:

You don't present facts, james, you pick fights. That's been your history from back when you were Shaun/Sean/Me or jonesy949. Your faked ''opinions'' will continue to be ignored. Options: 1. Like it. 2. Lump it.
