From bbc.com "internet network monitoring" of "CCTV cameras in video games shops with Google Maps"

CAN YOU SAY BIG BROTHER!!!!

Editor Comment:

No, but I can say drug dealers aged as young as 12 or 14.

Maybe I am wrong but I think kids even at 12 or 14 are smart enough to step out of the view of a camera to make the exchange.

Cameras in shops connected for open internet viewing smacks more of a way to find kids. Maybe that to is OK but what is to prevent a pedophile, a drug whole seller or the government from tracking children?

I wouldn't worry too much about cameras in internet shops, schemes such as this in thailand only seem to get funding for installation and not ongoing maintenance, so most of them will probably stop working soon enough anyway. :-)

Tables in restaurants are mute these days. I suspect they even tap in all requests: ''Please pass the salt.''
