I spent yesterday driving up from the Malaysia border and I found the police habit of inserting road blocks without any prior warning onto highways where cars are traveling at 110 kph to be the biggest hazard. What made it a nuisance too, is the fact the officers were all grouped together under the tent, apparently having a party with the actual checkpoints unmanned. I passed 9 of these blockades and 4 of them almost caused cars in front of me to collide. I did not see one driver even asked to roll down the window.
