It is noticeable that nobody is making too much fuss about the execution of 4 Nigerians who were 50% of those executed! Not even the African press as far as I can see.

It's quite simple, Logic. The death penalty still applies in Nigeria. An outcry about the death penalty being used usually only comes from countries where capital punishment has been abolished - with the recent exception of Indonesian maids in Saudi Arabia, which demonstrated the desperate need of the .Indonesian president to do what his voters expect of him, even if it means being two-faced.

It's strange how Australia didn't want their prisoners killed in Indonesia but rush to send people to harsh conditions from immigration laws.
A slow death for immigrants and no one bats an eyelid.

I have worked 4 years in Nigeria in my past - don't particularly like or defend that country.

But I do NOT like the 2 faced policies of certain governments, especially Australia who 'shopped' the Bali 9 to the Indonesian authorities, instead of waiting to arrest them at the Aussie end. It smacks of (no stinks) of 2 faced political posturing!
