It's quite simple, Logic. The death penalty still applies in Nigeria. An outcry about the death penalty being used usually only comes from countries where capital punishment has been abolished - with the recent exception of Indonesian maids in Saudi Arabia, which demonstrated the desperate need of the .Indonesian president to do what his voters expect of him, even if it means being two-faced.
