reuters Tens of thousands of pro-democracy protesters extended a blockade of Hong Kong streets on Tuesday, stockpiling supplies and erecting makeshift barricades ahead of what some fear may be a push by police to clear the roads before Chinese National Day.

reuters A record 4077 migrants have died already this year crossing deserts and seas worldwide, three-quarters of them in perilous journeys across the Mediterranean trying to reach Europe, the International Organisation for Migration said. Since King's of Bahrain legal adviser net worth reportedly stands at 2M USD, but of her husband 180M-220M USD, and advisor's parents were rumored to foot a part of bill, then 13M wedding expense doesn't looks so extravagantly expensive.
"Quality visitors" as someone would say.

To call Hong Kong "bonkers" is extremely unfortunate. Hong Kong citizens are staging a peaceful protest aimed at wanting democratic elections in 2017 - something that was promised by Beijing but is now being renegadedbon. In HK there are no shootings and hand grenades (like in BKK) and no looting and burning cars (like in the UK) - we should give huge respect to how peaceful this demonstration is

As a HK permenant resident i believe that HK citizens deserve democracy - and I hope they obtain it. Interesting times ahead for Beijing as to what their next move is

Anything but "bonkers"

"Quality" journalism at its best.

Editor Comment:

It's a play on words, AT, nothing more than that. As a former HK resident, the seriousness underlying the ''umbrella revolution'' does not escape me or my friends. All that can be read into the headline is that the city is very different to what it was a few days ago.

Your misinterpretation of the headline is entirely your own, and entirely wrong, quality reader
