Tony Abbott is quite correct, they are making a huge mistake welcoming them with open arms - a mistake that will cause issues for generations to come. Why are the Arab states not welcoming them with open arms? It's quite obvious.
These are undocumented people claiming to be escaping war in Syria, but investigations show this is not entirely true and they could well be extremists with terror attacks planned.
Welcoming them is an extremely dangerous policy. No doubt some of them are genuine, but it's quite clear a large number or not. When the terrorism attacks increase, we will know why.
