I wonder if they really chose Britain for shopping not something else.
Before I went to Singapore I always assumed that most glitzy luxury shooing is to be found in London.
However, London shops simply pales in comparison with the same brand shops in Singapore: there are hardly any T-shirts or casual shirts above 300-400GBP in Giorgio Armani in London, however a big bulk of such items in Singapore starts at 600-800-900SGD, surely these are not the same article , but different, more expensive sortment, not on display in London. And Asian tourists are leaving shops in Singapore with much larger bags - and of more expensive stuff, than in London.

@Sue:
???most glitzy luxury shooing is to be found in London?????. Is that so: are you on about shoes from Shoe Lane, shooing the chickens from Cockfosters tube station or shoeing the horses in the palace mews? Whatever, glitzy luxury doesn't fit any of them, but still it is something you cannot find in Singapore and I'm sure would be a good experience for Chinese tourists in London. The rest of your comment is pretentious guesswork.
