Information on the incident with the Russian diplomat is hard to find, but there are reports he was taken away from his home after the neigbours called the police because there were children being abused. Police officers apparently found the diplomat drunk and considered the situation threatening for the children, hence decided to take the man to the police station.

Re: Bangkok Police, car registration fees. Can anyone tell me, what the heck have the police got to do with car registration, it is the responsibility of the Dept of Land Transport. Someone should be telling Metropolitan Police Bureau deputy traffic commissioner Adul Narongsak to mind his own business and to look at fixing problems in the Traffic Police, this may actually save lives and cut corruption.
