UPDATING All Day, Every Day
ROYAL THAI NAVY personnel were helping to bring supplies today to about 50 houses on Phuket still isolated by floods. Authorities are working hard to devise ways of keeping the homes at Baan Sakoo Village moo 1 near Nai Yang beach free from inundation in downpours in future.
Original Report
PHUKET: Finer weather is expected to start this week on Phuket after a bleak period of about 10 days when tourists must have wondered about the holiday island's year-round appeal. There are no bans on boats venturing out and, apart from afternoon drizzle, the skies should be much clearer, according to Phuket-based meteorologists.
Great that the weather gods are giving Phuket a break.
So Patong police station and all other areas effected by passed flooding now can lean back and wait for the next flooding to experience as it goes year after year.
