PHUKET: Three Bulgarian men were arrested by police in Patong last night and accused of ATM scams.
The trio allegedly confessed to removing 70,000 baht using fake cards.
Slavchev Tsvtozargev, 44, allegedly took 10,000 baht from an ATM near Baanthai Resort in Patong.
Valntin Guenadiev, 42, allegedly took cash from an exterior cash dispenser at a 7-Eleven store in Kata-Karon.
The third man, Yanev Tsvetannetorov, 42, allegedly revealed to police that he set up the system on the ATM.
The men admitted to seven thefts, each of 10,000 baht.
Police plan a media conference later today to reveal details of the successful arrests.

These guys are looking at life sentences judging by the sentences dished out to Malaysian men this week in Bangkok.
