PHUKET: Anupol Nuchoi, 31, has told Phuket police that he was shot in the right leg by a member of a gang of youths who rode on motorcycles to a spot in the Rassada district of Phuket City while he was drinking with friends about 10pm on Friday. Earlier, he and his friends had called out loudly to two young women. Police believe the shooter and his gang were friends of the two young women, objecting to the cat-calls.

ED, the police dept's own statistics Posted by DSI Watcher on October 20, 2013 17:08 Editor Comment: I'd suggest the figures are probably more comprehensively compiled now than they were in 2006, and that minor drugs offences take out 80 percent of them all. Without a breakdown on major crimes and crimes of violence, the bald statistics have little meaning. The population of Phuket has probably increased more than in any other seven year term.

Ed, we all, including you, get info from somewhere, whether it is from "anonymous people..eg todays story of slavery or direct from an official government source, it seems some things are ok for to do but not for your readers, so be it. You can rule the roost if your ego needs to....I have better things to do than to debate with you.
