PHUKET: The new international terminal at Phuket airport should be open in February 2016, airport chief, Monrudee Ketphan, said today.
With the multi-storey car park now operating, residents and visitors are gaining a glimpse of what the future holds for travellers to and from Phuket.
The present international and domestic terminal, coping with increases in traffic well beyond its capacity, is due to begin a transformation in mid-2015 that will see its future use as the domestic terminal.
That renovation should be complete by 2017, Khun Monrudee said.
