Reckless meets Reckless... a bus and a delivery truck...both driven with the same reckless disregard for themselves or anyone else in the area. Traffic light goes out... nobody exercises caution...just turns into a demolition derby.

-slickmelb- I not so sure, many seem to be used again. I see many buses with a "bent frame" on Thailands roads. ;-)

I have clocked that bus at 80 MPH+ on many occasions over the years on my border runs. I drive an agile and safe sports car and would not go that fast on Route 4 at any point on it.

the problem with sport cars, that they are usually of small total weight, say, 1500kg or so, that is not safe when some road cowboy on a high weight vehicle will crash into such vehicle; there are very few (semi-)sport cars like large coupes e.g. MB CL, that are rather high total weight - but they are too expensive to own in Thailand, and even if you do, I am still not sure it is proper vehicle to do a border run; then it is better to drive a SUV which weight is comparable to the one of vehicle of average road maniacs.
