PHUKET: Governor Maitree Intrusud took to the skies above Phuket today to check the traffic flow and examine contentious properties from the air.
While a campaign is due to begin later this week into tourism-related issues, especially safety and security, the flow of traffic and encroachment on public land remain important topics.
The Governor later reported that the bypass road appeared to be particularly busy with traffic between 8am and 8,30am. That section to Chalong Circle carries 53,000 vehicles a day.
Two suspicious looking developments in Kathu will eb further investigated on the ground, Governor Maitree said.

Im not so sure that a helicopter ride was really necessary for the issues he was going to investigate.
