PHUKET: All of the athletes from the 45 participating countries in the 4th Asian Beach Games have already arrived in Phuket, Thailand, starting their training as the 4th Asian Beach Games will officially kick off on November 14.
One of the teams is the Qatari beach football team which was seen commencing its first practice session yesterday at Saphan Hin Stadium, one of the actual competing venues, aiming at familiarising its players with the combat ground before their matches.
The Qatari beach soccer team will compete with Iran, Lebanon and Iraq in Path B. Thailand, on Path A, will meet Japan, a two times champion, Bahrain a one time champion, and Uzbekistan.
The Thai beach soccer team will meet Uzbekistan on Saturday at 4pm.
