PHUKET: The Phuket Provincial Court is opening a room to contain the number of people who hope to see the trial of two Phuket journalists.
Proceedings in the court will be transmitted via a video feed to the second room, officials have told the Australian embassy.

The charges involve criminal defamation and the first use of the Computer Crimes Act against the media by the military in Thailand.
Phuketwan journalists Alan Morison and Chutima Sidasathian have been forced to suspend the site until the trial is over, when the future of the popular news outlet will be considered.
They face a maximum of seven years in jail.
Supporters are expected to gather outside the Phuket Provincial Court from 8.40am on Tuesday.
Officials observers are expected to be given priority in the court but the video stream will improve the capacity of others to hear the evidence.
