The haul for Pungkeaw Nonjan, 39, who works as an aide in a Rawai kindergarten, would have been greater if she's bought more than one ticket in the series. Seeking the number 824 to match her car numberplate, she settled for 842 from the lottery seller. It was her first ticket. Husband Sutin has been out of work for two months.
