PHUKET: A caddy from a Phuket golf course was killed and a rider seriously injured when a motorcycle failed to take a bend close to Phuket City today.

Rider Rangsiman Janmani, 23, was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital while the caddy, who has yet to be named, died at the scene in Kathu-Nakok Road about 2.10pm.

Khun Rangsiman failed to take a curve and ran on to collide with a pickup coming in the opposite direction.

He was wearing a helmet. His passenger was not wearing a helmet.
