What the rules about when they can drive on the beach before 10.30 ? and drive from the beach and not after 16.30 ? and NOT gasoline on the Beach ++++ And where are Mr Mayor Tawee Thongcham ??

I would venture out to bet tourists are not likely to be allowed to park their pick-up trucks on the beach either.

Obviously some people are more equal than others.

Don't know what beach you went to but karon kata and nai harn were busy today got to also remember it's looks quieter without the beaches being filled with rows of sunbeds and umbrellas

It would be interesting to see the reaction of the authorities if people now park their cars and trucks on the beach with their own sun beds and umbrellas in the same way as the jet ski operators do
Since the jet ski operators are allowed to do so then it would be difficult to argue that others are not allowed to as well

Maybe we all thake a Pick-up truck to Kata beach, inside the rolls in the morning and afternoon like Jet-Ski Operators ?? And take a beer or 2.

You can bring your own sunbed for free Hagner, Siegfried. If you say it is absurd and not touristfriendly to let tourists take the sunbeds hotel-beach v.v. I agree with you.

The police will explain the use as renting Sue Yu so letting them use the sofa is impossible.
