Weapons of all kinds have been captured by Phuket police in a week

Phuket Arsenal Collected in Just a Few Days

PHUKET: In a week from February 25, Phuket police confiscated 28 guns, 150 batches of drugs, 82 knives and 2565 pirate copy items. The items were put on display today. Police made 61 arrests over the weapons and another 34 were held for illegal gambling.

Wow... at least some of the police have been doing something worthwhile. My only suggestion would be to take the guys off the "fake watches and underwear" task force and shift them over to the weapons task force. Maybe they could even just inspect each one of the illegally parked tuktuks along the beach road in Patong, that would certainly yield some illegal weapons.

Worrying that so many weapons are in circulation. No doubt this collection is a small representation of what actually exists on the Island ?
