The first truck in the four-truck convoy bound for Phuket City hit the rear of a vehicle about 4.15pm outside HomePro in Thepkasattri Road, Thalang.
A driver in the second truck tried to avoid going into the back of the first truck and instead crashed by mounting the median strip.
The drivers of trucks three and four managed to half their vehicles without crashing.
None of those involved required hospital treatment.
Captain Natchaya Supanpong of Thalang Police Station said that a crane would try to lift the truck off the median strip later today.
Traffic along Thepkasattri Road heading south was expected to be affected for some time.
Today's crash follows a truck laden with goods for 7-Eleven stores crashing off Patong Hill and several earlier incidents involving SuperCheap trucks.
