Five or more tourists were in the Asia Safari Khao Lak vehicle when it hit a motorcycle about 3.30pm on the main road between the Tablamu Pier turnoff and Khao Lak.
Injuries are not thought to be serious but there's been no report so far on the condition of the motorcycle rider, who also required medical attention.
Those injured were taken to Thai Muang Hosital, further south on the way to Phuket.
The minivan flattened a roadside pole and flipped onto its side after hitting the motorcycle.
Yawn yawn yawn, are we going to see this every few days now.
When will there be greater awareness of driver, passenger and vehicle safety?
Do I see another vehicle with the wrong tyre matches on it again?
