The German man held at a house on Phuket over a fraud case in Austria

German Arrested on Phuket For Deportation to Austria Over Fraud Accusations

PHUKET: A German man was apprehended on Phuket today after his arrest was requested by Austrian police.

Detlef Gerhard Hewer, 49, is wanted for fraud in Austria, Kathu police were told before proceeding to a house at an address in Phanason Vichitsongkran.

Mr Hewer said that the person mentioned in documents provided by Austrian authorities was him.

He was transferred by Kathu police to Immigration in Phuket City who will send him to Bangkok. He faces speedy deportation back to Austria.

this guy, franky, was a former dive shop owner, once the austria authorities are finished with him, they can send him back to thailand again, because he owes to a lot of people money.
