Supanan Chaichana, 30, was probably a little upset when her father Leb was sentenced to a jail term in March for possession of 600 ya bah methamphetamine tablets.
And then her father leaned close on day and told her where the really big hoard was hidden in the family house.
It appears Khun Chaichana was not much of a drug dealer. A tipoff led police to her rented room in Phuket City's Rassada area yesterday.
Inside, they found the drugs that Khun Leb had managed to keep hidden back in March - 5400 ya bah tablets and 41 grams of ya ice. The drugs had a street value of about 1.7 million baht, police said.
It will come as no consolation to father or daughter that she will probably be serving a much longer term than he will.
