The tourists tell Pattaya police how the jet-ski flipped yesterday

Chinese Pair in Sea for Five Hours

Sunday, April 19, 2015
PHUKET: A Chinese couple have told police in Pattaya that they were stranded at sea for five hours when their jet-ski capsized.

Liu Zheng, 30, and Miss Hu Cheng Feng, 21, said they were eventually rescued by fishermen about 6pm.

The couple were wearing lifejackets but could not right the jet-ski after a wave flipped it over off Larn island.

Police were puzzled as to why the jet-ski hirer did not mount a search for his overdue machine and planned to question him today.

They are going to have to pay a LOT of compensation now to the jetski owner, or risk being beaten to a pulp.

Total makebelieve, Simon. How are the fairies in your garden?

Did these people get charged over time and charged for "damage" of the Jetski?

It's great they were finally rescued but what a horror story.

This unfortunate couple are lucky to be physically unscathed
The jet ski operators need to take a more responsible attitude towards their customers who are guests of Thailand
