The cost of workout fitness equipment is factored into the eight million baht figure.

The lagoon is a popular route for joggers and cyclists. The proposal will be submitted to Rawai council next week. If approved, construction could start at the end of June.
Whether residents would pay per visit or join a club has yet to be determined.

Good to know. With the drain on the community from toxic rubbish fires, speeding vehicles racing down the sois, illegal ATV's on the main road, e-coli pouring into the sea, sleep deprivation from loud bars, motorbikes and fireworks, drunken punters driving home on the wrong side of the road, as well as unbridled urbanisation, it will be good to have a sanctuary to escape to.
Would 8 million baht include a toilet? I understand that the new toilets at Cape Promthep cost 18 million baht, so some cost overruns could be expected at the new sports centre.
