PHUKET: We are excited to announce a major renovation of the Boathouse and adjacent property from June 1 to October 1 this year. During this period the hotel and both restaurants will remain closed.
Narong Pattamasaevi, Executive Chairman of Three Dolphins Co., Ltd., owner and operator of luxury, exclusive six-star Trisara and of the recently acquired Boathouse, assures the Boathouse will maintain the style and intimate atmosphere which have contributed to its vast popularity over the past 20 years.
''I am dedicated to continuing in the same tradition that has made Boathouse famous. Boathouse has grown to become more than just a hotel and fine dining destination on the beach to the many returning guests and Phuket locals alike.
''I appreciate their loyal support over the years and am certain the revamped Boathouse will be liked as much, hopefully even more,'' Mr Narong said.
As a renovation was necessary Mr Narong appointed internationally renowned architect Fredo Taffin, highly regarded for many successful projects such as Ku De Ta in Bali and the interior design of many high-end villas in Trisara Residences in Phuket, to conceive the renovation project.
The scope of the work will encompass the entire ground floor area including the lobby and Boathouse Wine & Grill. With the advice of Boathouse Executive Chef, Thailand's only Maitre Cuisinier de France Jean-Noel Lumineau, an open show kitchen will be created in the restaurant.
A new beachfront bar and Sunset Lounge on the second floor will be added to maximise opportunity for guests to enjoy the spectacular sunset view over beautiful Kata Beach and Pu Island.
Completely renovated rooms on the first and second floor will have direct access onto the beach or the beachfront Sunset Lounge and six large family suites will be created.
A stunning beachfront two-bedroom Penthouse Suite will be built on the fourth floor.
In addition Boathouse will boast a holistic spa. Adjacent Oasis will be converted into an exclusive lifestyle club on the beach. Exciting food, wine and music events will offer something for everyone to enjoy.
