PHUKET resorts and service industries are on the hunt for new hires at the jobs fair on May 29 at HomeWorks on the bypass road.
The fair will be held on the ground floor promotion zone from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Half of the 42 companies joining the fair will be holding interviews on site. Among these employers, 349 vacancies are up for grabs across a spectrum of 157 job types.
The remaining 21 companies will not be attending, but will instead have job postings at the fair.
A total of 1667 vacancies will be posted covering a range of 122 job types.
Most of the job openings are for sales, followed by general service staff, housekeeping, cashier and accounting positions.
Thanawan Thongsukchote, Chief of the Phuket Provincial Employment Office, told Phuketwan that the jobs are for Thai nationals only. Applicants are asked to bring their house registration documents, photos, ID card and certificates of education and training.
