PHUKET: The exodus of Cambodian workers quitting Thailand for home is not likely to have an effect on Phuket. Close to 200,000 Cambodian workers have fled Thailand because of rumors of an Army crackdown, according to reports. But on Phuket, a spokesperson for the Labor Office said, there are 115,465 registered workers from neighboring countries. Of these, 113,861 are from, Burma (Myanmar) 714 from Laos and 890 from Cambodia.
