The Nation Channel: Two taxi boats from Krabi to Phi Phi have been burned, apparently deliberately, at a loss of 30 million baht. Fire trucks took 30 minutes to control the blaze at Kong Ka pier in Krabi Town. Police and fire officers are investigating. An escaped cow fell into a large tank of used oil at a Shell station in Bangkok about 4am. The cow was eventually rescued and given a shower, but was nevertheless destined for the abbatoirs.
Bangkok Post: Next Monday, April 27, is expected to be the hottest day of the year, according to the Meteorological Department. On that day, the sun will be directly above Thailand, causing the temperature to increase, said Somchai Baimuang, director of the weather bureau.

Daily News: Red Shirt protesters broke 59 CCTV cameras in Bangkok during the April 8-April 16 protest, according to the Governor of Bangkok, Sukhumbhand Paribatra. He said replacements and repairs to the cameras would be complete by April 24. Another 1700 CCTV cameras are to be installed in the capital in September, he added.
