FC PHUKET attacked but was unable to convert in a scoreless draw with Big Bang Chulalongkorn University FC at Surakul Stadium in Phuket City last night.
There was no Einstein in the forward line, so as a result, there was no result. Atoms and players collided, but every attempt to drive the globe into the net failed.
FC Phuket simply failed to explode.
One of the largest crowds so far, reckoned to be about 4000, turned out to see whether the Hulks could break through for a genuine win in Division One, having recorded victory on a forfeit last time out.
Alas, it was not to be. But given the respective positions on the ladder - Big Bang leading the table on seven points and Phuket FC lying seventh - the crowd did not go away disappointed.
All that's needed is a little more accuracy. The next opportunity comes quickly with FC Phuket set to play JW Rangsit FC on Saturday at home in Phuket City.
On the night, Sunday's gate take of about 100,000 baht for FC Phuket was not a bad compensation prize.
