PHUKET: Courtyard by Marriott resorts in Phuket recently hosted the Marriott Southern Sports Day 2011 with eight Marriott hotels in southern Thailand taking part in the event at the Prince of Songkla University Phuket Campus.
Staff and management from the three Courtyard by Marriott resorts in Phuket at Patong, Surin and Kamala beaches all participated with colleagues from other hotels in the group including JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton and Renaissance in a fun day aimed at promoting teamwork, harmony and socialising.
Staff competed in sports such as soccer, volleyball, sepak takraw, badminton and table tennis for a range of prizes and rewards.
