SCHOOLS throughout Phuket have been turned into fun zones today as teachers, students and parents join Children's Day events.
Chaofa West Road in Wichit was jammed with traffic this morning as throngs of people arrived at Kajonkietsuksa School for a full day of activities.
The usual morning session of songs at Wittaya Sathid school in Phuket City was revved up with the anticipation of a day of games, food and fun for its 900 students and the teachers and parents who joined in.
Children's Day celebrations will continue this weekend at several spots around the island.
