What Phuketwan says: Paradise Beach is a natural haven where Thais fish off the rocks and where the coral is worth snorkelling to see. It's not easy to get there by road, but it's worth the effort. The place is very laid-back with just a few customers enjoying the atmosphere at this time of year. And the food is excellent. This is where you go when you want to get away from it all without going 1000 miles. Highly recommended.
How to find it: Turn left at Amari Coral Beach Resort at the southern end of the beach road in Patong, keep driving up and down past Tri Trang beach, then continue until you go through the gate onto a concrete path. The beach is a couple of kilometres further on.
Parking: Space right by the restaurant.

Actually went here yesterday, still fleecing tourist 100 baht to sit on the beach... a public beach. The beach was packed with bad swimsuits and smokers... the air reeked of smoke. Even saw some Russian girl in a bikini and high heels. Ridiculous. What a beautiful place, but with the people that were there, we couldn't leave fast enough.
