PHUKET: The Sunday evening walking street market in Old Phuket Town continues to grow in popularity as hundreds join the throng in Thalang Road. From about 5pm until late, people perambulate and enjoy the atmosphere. Souvenirs aplenty are on display, along with good food, street performances and a different touch to the Phuket of the tourist west coast. It's always worth a visit.
