Nice to see the Swiss can dig a tunnel from Patong to Sarasin bridge in 14 years - a tremendous achievement. I guess we'll see 14 years pf prevaricating, 'consultancy contracts' and no action for a completely unnecessary and improbable Patong tunnel. Having looked at the work being done on the ridiculous sign on the way up the hill it would have been so much easier to cut out some of the bends and improve the gradient. Maybe a quick call to the Swiss is in order!

I never read so clever comment! I fully agree with you..
Easy and not expensive also to give the project to some good University in Switzerland or in Italy (cause is very simple project to modify the actual road); but after how should be possible to get more money for nothing?
